4th of July Fireworks
History:  Fireworks have been an integral part of celebrations for many years.  They commemorate the struggle of various groups to forward their own ideas and aspirations to make the world a better place.

The Fireworks in Brownsburg are no exception.  For years the Brownsburg Lions have provided this event for the citizens of Brownsburg.  Fireworks represent the efforts of our forefathers, under arduous circumstances to dissolve the bonds that connected us to another power so we could assume our place in the world as a separate,  equal sovereign nation.  Each year we are reminded that our struggle is not for the faint of heart and that our journey is essentially never ending  in the search for and acquisition of the American Dream.

Lions hold dear those principles of freedom that appear so elusive among the nations of the world. And so, the Brownsburg Lions each year provide a vibrant reminder that we can and will fight to retain those freedoms we so cherish. Bombs bursting in air is a part of our national anthem, but the phrase is a daily sense of encouragement to those who will never submit to tyranny, and a constant reminder to our enemies that free men and women stand tall in our country and will bend a knee to no one.

The following are a few photos of fireworks sponsored by the Brownsburg Lions Club. We hope you will continue to enjoy this event, and in order to ensure its continuity, we hope you will consider donating to the Brownsburg Lions Club Fireworks fund.  Send donations in any amount to:
